As part of the founding team, we are seeking ambitious professionals with a growth mindset who excel at tackling open-ended challenges and thriving in ambiguity. This role demands a highly driven individual with strong leadership abilities, a sense of ownership, and adaptability. The Business Development Manager will have the opportunity to shape and develop new service offerings while providing strategic direction to establish the new business from the ground up.
What you’ll do :
- Spearheaded and identified crucial requirements for new initiatives, fostering collaboration between stakeholders to ensure a successful implementation that enhances the competitiveness and profitability of the business.
- Manage Key Partnerships: Begin by taking full responsibility for acquiring and managing relationships with new and existing major partners, including coordinating negotiations of key commercial terms and conditions.
- Steer business growth by making decisions on assortment expansion, promotional activities, and marketing initiatives. Monitor overall business performance and implement strategies to enhance growth, profitability, and market share.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the business, including budgeting and forecasting and ensuring strong top-line growth with sustainable bottom-line results.
- Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on business performance, market opportunities, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
- Responsible for optimizing the P&L of the category and ensuring that promotions/pricing delivered are competitive and relevant to the target market
What you’ll need :
- 5 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, commercial operations, or a related field.
- Experience in e-commerce and retail industry is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Can-do attitude, a strong eagerness to learn, excellent manners, a deep passion for success, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, a sense of responsibility, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing and driving initiatives independently.
