Overview

Reporting to the COO/CPO, the Growth Team seeks to identify and optimize growth strategies for the company through insights, analysis, experiments, and data. The projects the Strategy unit work on span the full verticals across the company, impacting supply, demand, product, and supply chain, and deliver long-lasting impact on topics such as organizational efficiency, sales and product optimization, market strategies, innovation, and new product features – producing highly visible results backed up by experimentation and data.


Responsibilities

  • Own strategy for a vertical business area for LINE MAN Wongnai and develop a deep understanding of their vertical in order to advise domain stakeholders
  • Analyse data and market insights to identify growth opportunities in order to develop new ideas or identify and execute experiments, product improvements and business optimization
  • Scan the competitive landscape, spot trends and technical developments and ideate, plan and execute, experiments or improvements as needed
  • Leverage data to analyze, identify and support recommendations for growth
  • Present proposals including go-to-market strategies, new product features, or business optimisations to senior management and C-suite for implementation
  • Manage a high performing team (for Senior Managers)

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Strategy and consulting, or Business development or related field
  • MBA from a top-tier university is preferred
  • Ability to extract data for analysis (using SQL) and ability to analyse data independently is critical
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and high growth environment
  • Entrepreneurial and not afraid to be hands-on on the work
  • Enthusiasm to develop engineered processes and technologies and to apply innovative solutions to make organizational improvements while encouraging creative thinking and innovation
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English) with ability to work well across multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to leverage analytics and quantitative methods to break down problems and come up with recommendations
