Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category plan - strategy, assortment & range, pricing, promotions, product availability, and cost prices to expand both sales and margins
  • Develop and deploy food safety guideline & plan
  • Capture, analyze, and predict the future market trends
  • Maintain relationships and negotiate commercial term to lead for best interest from both existing suppliers and sourcing for new suppliers
  • Work to develop new sourcing and extended range to ensure we have high quality, great value, and goods available to our customers year-round
  • Employ data-driven decision making to drive the category growth
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders - Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Team to ensure inventory level and waste management are optimizing

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years in merchandising / buying and category management for Food especially in fresh produce (Fresh food)
  • Superb business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management (both internal and external).
  • Strong communication,analytical and project management skills
  • Result oriented, logical, with the ability to think strategically and creativity, distinctive problem-solving skills, and the abilities to work well under-pressure in very dynamic environment
  • Structured communicating that can persuade, influence and educate stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) in both Thai and English
