About LINE Pay (Thailand)
LINE Pay is an integrated online and offline payment platform under LINE MAN Wongnai and LINE Thailand, following the acquisition in August 2023. LINE Pay offers seamless payment services, including an easy and secure digital wallet, and quick on-the-go payment options for purchases, money transfers, or top-ups. LINE Pay services can be utilized within public transportation, for purchasing goods and services from partner brands, as well as for various utility bill payments.
What you’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain LINE Pay core systems for payment, money transfer, merchant and so on
- Design and implement new features tailored to Thailand's Fintech business environment
- Design systems and optimize performance for handling large-scale traffic
- Drive continuous improvements in code quality and productivity
What you’ll Need:
- 3+ years of experience in Java (or Kotlin) development using JVM-based frameworks (Spring Boot, JPA)
- Strong knowledge and skills in relational database and SQL
- Experience in developing and operating high-traffic service systems
- Solid understanding of CS fundamentals (Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems)
- Growth mindset, willing to learn new things and teach others
- Strong interest in Fintech business
It'd be Great if you have:
- Experience in payment/financial domain and security knowledge
- Experience with the APIs and microservice architectures
- Experience in RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, HBase, Elasticsearch, etc.)
- Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong problem-solving skills with proactive leadership
